Nancy enjoys photographing pigs , as well as other scenes around the farm. and elsewhere. She paints in acrylics, oils, and watercolors. Several years ago, she painted Barn Quilts on wood and added pigs to some of the paintings. From there she painted different signs on metal. Both the Barn Quilts and metal signs sold well at the Kevin Wendt Online Auctions out of Ohio. In addition, Nancy has been commissioned to paint various signs for people who love pigs,. She also painted an old four feet wide saw blade with all the Outer Banks lighthouses on it. Nancy loves to paint and photograph old farm memorabilia, barns, and Barn Quilts or painted boards that decorated barns and sheds.
